Hello and welcome! I'm Emily, the heart behind Paws and Ponies Pet Sitting - a dedicated, professional pet sitting and house sitting service with over 13 years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all shapes and sizes.

Animals have always been at the centre of my life. I grew up on a farm surrounded by dogs, cats, horses, goats, sheep, aviary birds and small animals - giving me a lifelong understanding of animal care from a young age. That passion became a career, and today I'm proud to offer trusted, high-welfare care for pets across a wide range of species.

I hold a foundation degree (FdSc) in Animal Behaviour and Welfare and am currently continuing my studies with a BSc in Zoology and Conservation. My professional background includes working in zoological collections during work experience, where I cared for carnivores, hoofstock, and exotic birds, as well as looking after a wide variety of clients' pets; including reptiles such as bearded dragons, gecko's, and tortoises.

Whether it's a farm visit, a small pet check-in, or full overnight house sitting, I provide each animal with the same level of compassion, attentiveness, and care I would give my own. I'm DBS checked, insured, and hold a full UK driving licence, so you can have complete peace of mind while you're away.
